Dear All,

please advise the different between below RS-485 transceiver parts, thanks.

SN65HVD12DR & SN65HVD12DRG4

I studied the datasheet, but I am not able to find it. please help.

    Hi Aravind,

    The G4 suffix used to be used to distinguish a "green package" version (RoHS and Sb/Br-free). The non-G4 version of the device was later updated to use the same green packaging, though, and so now there is no difference between the devices. We continue to support both orderable part numbers out of convenience to customers.
