DS90CF384A - RxOUT23 "RES" pin undocumented

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90CF384A

Hello TI guys,

I'm designing with DS90CF384A LVDS receiver. RxOUT23 "RES" pin is undocumented.

1 - Does it mean RESET pin ? Could I connect this signal to "Display On(Hi)/ Off(Lo)" LCD input pin ?

2 - If I don't use RxOUT23, could I leave it floating ?

Best regards,

Pierre

  • Hi Pierre,

    Please see answers below:

    1. RxOUT23 "RES" stands for "Reserved." In typical 24-bit RGB signaling, you will have 24 RxOUT pins for the RGB888 signals, alongside 3 control pins (HSYNC, VSYNC, and DE). The remaining bit (RxOUT23) can be used as a general purpose bit if your desire.

    2. If you do not use RxOUT23, you can leave it as unconnected.

    Thanks,

    Michael
