Parallel to CSI-2

I am working on a project that requires a Camera to interface to processor.

Camera output is YUV422 (8bit parallel) and interface to processor is MIPI.

We tried to look at SN65LVDS315 and thought we had a fit, but realized that the output is CSI-1 and we require CSI-2.

I realize that these formats are incompatible so we're wondering if there is a similar bridge to convert 8bit parallel to CSI-2?

I have looked and can find nothing from TI's current catalog.

Hi JMax,

Look at the www.ti.com/product/ds90uh940-q1 . It has CSI-2 outputs, supports YUV422

However, you will most likely need a video processor in front of the DS90UH940 to convert the raw camera data. Not a one-chip solution.

There is a single chip solution from another silicon vendor (Toshiba) that is almost exactly like the '315, but it supports CSI-2.
