DP130 EVMs Software Control?

Hey team,

My customer is working on implementing the SN75DP130 in a sink application. Looking through the documentation of the DP130 EVMs (Dual-Source and Single-Source), it appears that these EVMs are jumper controlled and not software controlled.

Do these EVMs have a software control option?

Hi Kareem,

DP130 has I²C interface to configure internal registers. The EVM has SCL and SDA pins on connector J3 on left side of board.

I'm sorry, let me clarify my question. Does the EVM come with an EVM Software GUI, or some other TI provided software?

Hi Kareem,

There is no software to configure it, in one of the documents there is an image suggesting there is GUI to program DP130, I don't know where this image come from, because we don't have such software.

If you use use DP149, DP159, TMDS171, TMDS181 we have a software to configure them.
