We need a clarification on FPD link I2C control interface communication with salve device.  It is very critical, could you please get the very quick clarification for the below.  

 

As per application note SNLA222.pdf, Our understanding of three type operation for I2C transaction are listed below

1. Local (between Local I2C and Host I2C device) – Only with immediate DES or SER device connected to host Device

2. Remote (between Remote SER and Host I2C device) - Only with 2nd stage DES or SER device connected to host device.

3. Remote slave (between Remote Slave and Host I2C device ) – Third salve device which is not DES/SER

 

 

Below is our approach of design.

we need to know shall the HOST processor can communicate to Salve CAMERA device with pass through of DES1->SER1->DES2->SER2->CAMERA.

Can we make DESERALIZER_1, SERALIZER_1 and  DESERALIZER_2 in Pass Through to access CMOS camera..??

Can the SERIALIZER_2 can act as proxy master to address CAMERA..??

Is there any difficulty in communication with CAMERA through I2C control channel.??
