Self designing a DP83848 ethernet PHY board

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83848I, DP83848C, USB-2-MDIO

Hi Guys

I am in the process of designing and making my own PHY board and for that I want few help from you people, as you guys are quite well experienced with the

DP83848.

I have few questions regarding that, so if you could solve that than it would be a better help for me.

1 --- First of all I am not able to find the standalone  reference design for the DP83848 ethernet PHY from where I can design one for mine.

2 --- I read the datasheet of the PHY and found that pin 24 which is RBIAS pin has to be connected with the 4.87k 1% resistance, so if the value of the resistance gets changed a little bit , it would work or not and by changing value here I mean the resistances of the value of 4.7k , 4.9k or 5.1k. Are these values are also OK compare to the RBIAS 4.87k resistances.

3 --- I want to use the MII interface of the PHY and therefore I am not sure which sort of crystal to be used with the DP83848.

Awaiting your responses in this regard.
