  • Hello Lung Chun Lee,

The dock will pass the DP signals directly from the source to the monitor. There could be a signal integrity problem if the transceiver is weak on the monitor. Do you have access to a DP-400 aux analyzer? If so, can you verify if the monitor's capabilities and HPD are properly passed to the DP source?

While you could modify the existing dock FW you would need to verify that the proper configurations are copied over.

What are you using as your Type-C DP source? MacBook? Chromebook? Motherboard?

    Regards,
    Karl

  • C.rarDear Karl:

DP source is Apple Type-C MAC book.

Sink is  AOC I2269VWM DP monitor.

    I have no DP-400 analyzer.

I am sure that AOC I2269VWM is 4 LAN DP monitor last Friday.

I used TPS65982 GUI tool_v1.5.0 to modify DP UFP_D Pin Assignment of DP support setting to C.

But TI Dock DP port linked to AOC monitor still have no any screen.

I tried DP UFP_D Pin Assignment for A and E.

The result is the same that have no screen.

    Attached is FW code.

Please check the code have any problem.

Or have any suggestion for 4 LAN DP FW.

Another Type-C solution realtek RT5400 is manually operated to switch 2 LAN and 4 LAN and can work normally with AOC I2269VWM.

    Thank you so much.
