Hi support member,

As UFP configuration with PORT=L, CC1/2 are toggling between high and low like DRF at Unatteched.

Is this corect operation?

If it was correct, should CSR register 0x08 [ACCESSORY_CONNECTED] be "111"?

Actually, we can read the register as "000".

Hello Inoue-san,

The CC pins behavior is expected due to the accessory support feature, and the value for debug accessory is 111 (reffer to the datasheet page 17). Please provide a detailed test procedure and the complete read results from the registers 0x08, 0x09 and 0x0A.

Yes, setting is UFP accessory support enabled (Default).

EN=Low, Port=Low(4.7kohm), CC1/CC2=5.1kohm pull down, VBUS=0V
Then, EN-is changed to High.

Are you trying to test "debug accessory"? In UFP mode, the debug accessory would be detected only if Rps are presented on both CCs. Datasheet will be updated accordingly. Apologize for the confusion.

In DFP mode, the debug accssory would be detected with Rds presented on both CCs.

I understand that, in UFP mode, TUSB320HAI enters Debug accessory state when Rps are presented on both CCs.

In UFP of DRP mode, does TUSB320HAI enter Debug accessory.SNK when Rps are presented on both CCs?

The TUSB320HAI supports the debug accessory mode in all modes of operation per the USB Type-C specification v1.2 which is about to be released.
