LMH0303; About VOL characteristic of /FAULT-pin

Hi,

Our customer has a question about VOL characteristic of /FAULT-pin in LMH0303.
Because they're trying to light on/off to connect the LED directly to the /FAULT-pin.

Please tell me the VOL and sink current(IOL) condition of the /FAULT-pin.
And, is it possible to drive the LED directly.

Matsumoto-San,

This depends on the minimum luminous intensity of the LED. Fault pin is open collector and can sink about 4mA. Using this figure and the LED minimum luminous intensity you can calculate the value of series resistor.
