No, I would not recommend this component for use with the DP83848. The turns ratio for this component is +/-3%. The recommended turns ratio for the DP83848 is +/-2%. For future reference, the turns ratio and other magnetics requirements are listed in the datasheet and in the design and layout guide (www.ti.com/.../snla079).

Hello Patrick-san,

Regarding SNLA079, there is a recommended magnetic part number "SI-60062-F". This magnetic turns ratio is +/- 3%. Could you please give us your comment on this ?

You are correct. We will need to remove this component from the application note. With a 3% tolerance on the turns ratio, the output signaling might not be compliant with the IEEE specification.
