Hello,
We're two weeks away from a big milestone and I just noticed a really bad mistake in the architecture. We use a 929 to serialize HDMI into LVDS, and then deserialize (ds90UB926Q) the signal into 18bit RGB. The display requires a pixel clock of 10MHz, and although we can modify our HDMI driver to support that, the 929 only supports frequencies as low as 25MHz according to the datasheet.
Will the 929 support 10MHz anyways? Will there be any instability? I assume that 25MHz was indicated in the datasheet as a lower limit since that is what the HDMI spec calls out.
