Hello,

Is there a driver for the TUSB3740 that takes the issues in the driver workaround errata (http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sllz076) into account, or is it supposed to work the the mainline xhci driver?

Has anyone had this chip working and talking to a USB3 device in Linux?

The query seems to be like the driver of TUSB3740 .
Would you please tell us that "which make " is the TUSB3740 belongs to ? If it is non-TI, please post your query on the forum to which this product belong to.

Or, your question is whether the linux has the driver for "TUSB3740", you can use "make menuconfig" and look for the supportive driver existence.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay, I know the Linux community addressed some of the Errata items but I'm not sure if all of them.
An engineer from my office made some testing with the linux driver, he is currently out of the office but he shall share his results as soon as he gets back(next week)

Hello,
I've got feedback from my colleague, the Errata was communicated to the Linux Community since 2014 but we are not sure if they implemented all the workaround nor which kernels have the update, we've never had issues with the Latest kernels, my recommendation is to go with the Linux Community just to be sure.
