USB C Alternate Mode 5.4 Gbps Redriver?

Hi,

I'm designing a USB C system with one eDisplayPort lane running at 5.4 Gbps and need a redriver in the signal path. I was eyeing the TUSB501, but it's specified maximum speed is 5 Gbps. Will this IC work at the 5.4 Gbps DisplayPort rate? If not, is there single-channel buffer which will available in a 2x2mm or 3x3mm package?
