Hyperlink and SRIO are used in Keystone I & II. I want to know are there any PHY chip can help me to boost signal power for long distance transmission?

Hi Xining,

I am not as familiar with Hyperlink, but I have been able to find that SRIO is similar to 10G-KR protocol, for which we have various repeater solutions that can boost signal to extend the link. I presume you are using SRIO 3.0 at 10.3125 Gbps? How much loss in dB are you expecting during signal transmission?

If so, you may start off by taking a look at a couple redriver options: DS100BR111 or DS125BR111 for 1-lane bidirectional, and DS100KR800 or DS125BR820 for 8-channel unidirectional.

Another question. Hyperlink is the internal CBA 3.x-based transaction, which is LVCMOS-based. Do you the chips you mentioned above suit for the need?

Hi Xining,

There is more information about Hyperlink in E2E on this link. The repeaters Michael called out are compatible with XAUI - be sure to AC couple them when interfacing to a Hyperlink IO.
