LVDS receive IC replacement - sn65mlvd2 to sn65lvds4

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65MLVD2, SN65MLVD047, SN65LVDS4

Hi All,

In the current design I am using TX device: sn65mlvd047 , RX device: sn65mlvd2

I want to replace the RX device to sn65lvds4 from sn65mlvd2.  Do you see any issues with this?

The reason for replacement: sn65mlvd2 operates at 3.3V and needs an external buffer to down convert it to 1.8V.

your inputs much appreciated!

Thanks,

D
