I have a simple question.

Is DP83848 supporting for IEEE802.3x ?

Nobody knows?

I think, IEEE802.3x is Flow Control feature.
And then, there are some register for the flow control in DP83848 datasheet.
As the result, I guess DP83848 is supported for IEEE802.3x !

Is my understanding correct?

Taka,

Most of the requirements for flow control occur in the layers above the PHY. At the PHY level, the DP83848 does support flow control using Pause functionality as part of Auto-Negotiation.

Pause capabilities can be advertised in the ANAR register (address 0x04). Link partner Pause capabilities will be reported in the ANLPAR register (address 0x05). Pause status will be reported in the PHYCR register (address 0x19).

Thank you for your kind support. I undestood.
May I just ask you again? My customer is checking DP83848(10/100) and DP83867(10/100/1000).
For IEEE802.3x support, is there a difference in those?

Taka,

The DP83867 also supports advertisement of pause in the ANAR register (address 0x04) and reports the link partner pause capabilities in the ANLPAR register (address 0x05).
