Is there a Win10 driver for the TUSB7340 reference board Rev c?

I got a non compatible message with the latest website driver tring tio install for an updated Win10 install..

  • Hello,
The Win10 driver is developed by Microsoft, we've never had issues installing this device in windows 10.
Can you elaborate more on the issue? Can you try in another OS? Are you sure the EVM is working properly?
    Regards
  • I'm trying to install the TI based installer on an AMD Win10 64bit machine.

the board is functioning, but I'm trying to run a UVC class video device passing 1080P60 video.

the TI chip is the only add in card among several chip vendors that does not work.

This is the first time I tried the TI web page installer.

In any event it does not work.

  • The error message on install is: "The Operating System is not adequate for running the TI USB3 Host Driver."
  • Hello,
The TUSB7340's webpage has two drivers, one is the xHCI Driver which is required for Windows 7 and older, the second one is a filter driver.
For Windows 8 and newer you only require the "filter driver"

Make sure you are NOT installing the xHCI driver.
    Regards
  • OK, thanks.

I went to the EVM reference board page and it only has a single link to the xHCI driver.

The chip web page has the three drivers, not the EVM page.

The filter driver does correctly install for Win10.

I do not get a correct render via GraphEdit, but AMCap does work for me.

I'm seeing an average frame rate of 54 fps with the TI part, while 5 other USB 3.0 chipsets give me 60fps.

  • Dear Sir,
I got one problem of TUSB7340 device.
When I connect one USB device it can work on this card.
But if we remove one USB device and another USB device is not active connected, then the USB connection of all USB devices, which are connected to this PCIe card stop working. And the driver for the USB 3.0 Host-Controller shows a wrong device in the device manager.

Only if we restart the PC, then all USB devices can be used again.

We tried this on 3 different PC systems with Windows 10 and all ave the same conflict.

Do you have any ideal about this issue? Thanks.
