Will the DS250DF810 support the CDFP standard for optical/copper modes with theis 400Gbps hot plug connector?
If not do we have anything that can work in this space?

Hi,
TI's DS250DF810 8-channel retimer is fit for use in pluggable module applications where the data rate per channel is 25Gbps. Meeting the CDFP MSA standard requirements is more of a question for the optical module system design. But the DS250DF810 has more than sufficient Rx equalization along with Tx equalization and excellent jitter performance. Our general recommendation for retimer configuration in a port side/module application is to if possible add software hooks to issue a CDR reset and release operation based on the state of the module present pin.
Cordially,
