DP83867IS with FPGA

Hi all,

Our customer began to examine for new product design.
They plans to adopt the DP83867IS with FPGA in test board.
They know that the relevant documents of the EVM is in the web.
However, those documents are not for FPGA.

Could you give useful informations for design to the system of DP83867 with FPGA  to me?

    Hello Nagai,

    Looking at the selection of device, I believe the customer wants to use the SGMII interface. Is this correct?

    Interfacing our PHYs with an FPGA is not much different than a microprocessor or microcontroller. At a minimum the SGMII(or RGMII) interface would be connected to the FPGA. Depending on interface choice, I can point you to some reference schematics.

    Yes.
    They will adopt the FPGA of "A".
