DC Coupled Loopback Application of HD3SS3212 2-CH Differential MUX/DMUX

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HD3SS3212

Hi,

I have a 6Gbps differential loopback application using the TI HD3SS3212I 2-CH differential 2:1/1:2 USB3.1 MUX/DMUX. I look to connect a TX +/- to com port A0+/- and connect the C0+/- port to the C1-/+,respectively (note polarity switch for microstrip PCB port interconnect), and connect an RX+/- port to com port A1+/-. The TX/RX connection must be DC coupled as well as ports B0+/- and B1+/- connected to automatic TE.

Question: Will this work within the parametric bounds of the HD3SS3212? All datasheet application figures, except that of the MIPI interconnect, stipulate capacitor coupling in/out of one or more ports. Further, the DS only mentions the need for MUX DC bias but does not expound on need or applicable parameters.

Thx,

Jim
