Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following questions.

Would you please provide the "TPS65982 I2C Host Interface Specification" documents which TI described on TPS65982 datasheet?

[Question.2]
According to the "
TPS65982 and TPS65986 Firmware User's Guide" documents, it seems that the I2C interface protocol of TPS65982 supports the "Unique Interface Protocol".
Does it also support the normal I2C Byte/Word access?

[Question.3]
Would you please teach me the means of "Sr" at I2C Unique Address Read Register Protocol on TPS65982 and TPS65986 Firmware User's Guide?

Hi Kaka,

1. This is located in Appendix A (Page 41) of the TPS65982 and TPS65986 Firmware User’s Guide (www.ti.com.cn/.../slvuah7a.pdf)

2. No, the device only supports the I2C protocol listed in the Host Interface Specification (see question 1).

3. Sr = Source

I believe this is inaccurate. "Sr" (as seen in Figure A-2 of SLVUAH7A) means Repeated Start - this is an I2C symbol used to signal a change in direction from write to read.
