Hi TI Experts,

I am beginner of this device. Please teach me the following question.

What is the 4CC command?

I checked the TPS65982 and TPS65986 Firmware User’s Guide, I could not understand this. Also I searched this word on Google but I could not find that. Does this word in general word?

I would like to know the 4CC command in order to control by host device via I2C. So I would like to know how to send the I2C command to use the 4CC command.

Hi Kaka,

Sorry for delayed response on this thread. 4CC are 4 character commands that TPS65982 implements as Unique Address Interface Commands. Host processor can use these commands to communicate with TPS6598x device. All the supported commands are specified in Section A.3.4, Table A-31 of FW users guide ( link below).
