SN75DP126 Input format for TMDS output

Hi all,

 This chip is connected to a xilinx FPGA which I am going to implement my IP core. My problems are,

1. To use the HDMI output  do we have to input TMDS signals to the chip?

2. Does this IC have internal DP-to-TMDS converter ?
