Can you recommend a RS485 multiplexer or switch?

What would you be trying to accomplish with this switch? The RS-485 standard supports multi-point buses, so multiple transceivers can share a common pair of signaling wires without need of external switching. You just need to ensure that multiple drivers are not active simultaneously by controlling the driver enable (DE) inputs appropriately.

I have used the CD405xB family of Multiplexers/Demultiplexers, many times. They can pass analog or serial data. You will have to do a little level translation.

There isn't a common addressing scheme included as part of the RS-485 standard, so different implementations can be used based on the needs of the application. In general, though, if you have nodes that share a common bus then you just need to make sure that they each have a unique address.
