DP159 support DP 1.2

Hello,

              Customer use Intel skylake platform support DP 1.2, but DP159 support DP 1.1. Can it use for DP to HDMI that support 

4K/2k @ 60Hz? 

               DP159 looks support DP  6-Gbps and HDMI 2.0 6-Gbps. But the standard of DP 1.1 and HDMI 2.0 looks support higher data rate. Has any wrong for my understanding? Thank you

    Hi Patrick,

    DP159 is a DP++ to HDMI level shifter, it supports DP++ v1.1.

    DP159 is not a DP to HDMI protocol converter, therefore it doesn't support DP 1.2.

    Besides, from a skylake document, it states use a level shifter for HDMI 1.4a,and a protocol converter for HDMI2.0.
