My customer wants to use USB type-C in their LCD monitor application. The below block diagram is their concept.
2 USB type-C ports will be used in a monitor and 2 TPS65982 will be also used. There are many scenarios but if one TPS65982 gets power(Sink) from external device, the other TPS65982 should be a source. So I'd like to use 2 GPIOs to make this function work. If one is a sink, the Source(0), Sink(1) GPIO output will be high and it goes to the "BARREL JACK DETECTION" of the other TPS65982 to make it a source.
Do you think these 2 GPIOs will make this function work? This is just my idea. If you have better ideas, please let me know.
