An input signal to the DSI8x is fluctuate because of our customer's system.

Please let me know wheather the attached case1-3 are possible to input to the DSI8x.

Hello,

The DSI8x does not realign timing. The line time on the input is preserved when output onto the LVDS interface. If the line time is different from what is calculated by the DSI Tuner, this will cause issues. Even if the DSI source is outputting streams in burst manner, it is important for the DSI source to fill in the rest of the line time with blanking packets(or LP11) to meet the line time requirement.

Where is the line time preserved, in the packet header of the DSI signal or
resister of the device?

Could you tell me the instance of issues?

For the DSI timing calculation, the total value matters the most as it relates to the line time(horizontal sync to next horizontal sync). It is critical for the DSI source to output the data per the calculated line time. You need to confirm if the line time matches the DSI tool calculation. See the example below.
