Hello,

We are looking to use the DP83867E. However, we just have a 100Base-T connection. We are having a tough time discerning between the TD_x channels, and which ones we should use for an 100Base-T connection. Based on the EVM schematic, I'm assuming it would be channels C & D, but I wanted to confirm that.

Hi Jamaal,

Channel A & B are used for 10/100 mode by default.

The EVM is laid out in mirror mode where channels A, B, C, D are remapped internally to the device.

A -> D
B -> C
C -> B
D -> A

I would recommend connecting channel A and B to channels 1(pin 1&2 on RJ45) and 2(pin 3&6 on RJ45) respectively on the rj45 jack. Then you can use default settings instead of setting mirror mode using the strap pin.
