Hi,

I received the following question from the customer.

Does the power supply for the TUSB211 allow the ripple noise as the DC/DC converter?

Or is it require to eliminate the ripple noise by LDO?

I guess that the digital device such as the TSUB211 doesn't require filtering.

Hello Tadahiko-san,

The TUSB211 should be fine as long as the power supply meets the recommended operating conditions all the time (including power spikes and noise). Therefore the answer to whether the TUSB211 needs VCC filtering or not depends on the customer's design.
