DS110DF1610 / the register programming information

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS110DF1610

Hi,

Customer is considering DS110DF1610 as the following usage.

12 ports is used for CPRI data rate, 9.8304, 4.9152, 2.4576 Gbps.

The rest 4 ports is used for 5Gpbs.

Would you please provide us the register programming information?

Best Regards,

Kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

    For 9.8304G/4.9152/2.4576G, see channel register values below:

    0x60: 0x27

    0x61: 0xB1

    0x62: 0x27

    0x63 0xB1

    0x64: 0xCC

    For 5Gbps, you can simply set 0x2F to 0x06.

    Cordially,

  • Hi Rodrigo - san,

    Thank you for the reply.Customer don't use these datarate individually, but simultaneously with a DS110DF1610.

    TX1a,1b,2a,2b,3a,3b,4a,4b,5a,5b,6a,6b(12ports) -> 9.8304,4.9152,2.4576Gbps

    TX7a,7b,8a,8b(4ports) -> 5Gbps

    In this case, would you please provide us the register programming information?

    Best Regards,

    Kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

    I better understand what you are asking for now. The easiest way to do this is to use the CDR manual mode and program group 1 for one data rate and group 2 for the other. The channel register writes below set group 0 for 9.8304Gbps plus divide by 2 and 4 sub-rates and Group 1 for 5Gbps.

    0x2F: 0x26
    0x60: 0x27
    0x61: 0xB1
    0x62: 0x00
    0x63: 0xB2
    0x64: 0xCD
