I am currently making a 4 layer board for the ds92lv18 and surrounding circuitry. The dielectric thickness between the top layer and ground plane is 3.5mils. Are there any issues with applying a ground pour to the entire top layer, making sure to keep it away from the differential lines?
Thanks!
Hi Daniel,
There is no problem with the additional GND pour on top/bottom layers. Please do keep it far enough away from the input and output signals so it is not a big factor in the overall trace impedance.

Lee
