Hi,

I have used TUSB1310A part no. in my project. I am using 40Mhz oscillator with it but it does not operate on this frequency clock. Also, when i m using external clock instead through the oscillator it does not respond. But when i am using 20MHz clock rate/Oscillator it works fine on this frequency.

What might be the problem ? Please suggest as i m totally stuck up. I have checked the schematics several times and found no glitch. Awaiting your response...

Hello Kamesh,

You need to select the input reference clock frequency through REFCLKSEL[1..0] pins. These pins are strapping option pins (please see table 2-8 at the datasheet). All the strapping option pins can be controlled externally by the Link Layer Controller.
