Dear Sir:

I used ONET4201PA and have a issue that is test failure at optical +0dBm eye diagram.

Is that ONET4201PA spec can't meet 0dBm eye diagram test?

Compentitor is MNDSPEED M02050 which can pass 0dBm eye diagram test.

Attached file is MNDSPEED M02050 datasheet.

Hi Lung,

0dBm is the optical power at the photodiode (PD) input. After PD there is TIA and ONET4201PA is after TIA. So, which one fails in that path? If the input to ONET4201PA is within the expexted range, then it will not fail.
Could you provide more information about the issue, setup, etc?
