HD3SS460 / polarity of DP lines

Hi Team,

Figure 8. of datasheet(page.17) shows ploarity of DP lines are swapped.
Is it possible to swap positive(P) for negative(N) line as the Figure 8.?
I believe it is no ploblem but would like to confirm just in case.

    Hello Yaita-san,

        Display port does not allow polarity inversion, So in the example of the Figure 8, the differential pairs were inverted on the Type-C side of the HD3SS460 (this practice is just an example and depends on the implementation, for a better layout design if it is needed.), and thus in order to compensate such inversion, the differential pairs were inverted again on the DP side. Meanwhile USB specification allows polarity inversion, that’s why there is no need to invert the SSTX & SSRX differential pairs.
