Please let me know about max length of optical fiber connector on DP83620.

　・DP83620 ～ Connector pattern length is 150mm

    Could you clarify your question?  Are you asking about the physical size of the fiber optic transceiver? 

    The AFBR-5972Z supports LVPECL levels and has a signal detect output.  It should be interoperable with the DP83620.

    Sorry for unclear question.

    For customer reason, circuit board of DP83620 and AFBR-5972Z are difference.
    Distance of two boards is 150mm.
    Customer is worrying that 150mm is no problem or NG.

    The fiber interface has not been validated over 150mm. It is theoretically possible, but would need to be evaluated by the customer in their system, especially given that we cannot guarantee the functionality of the AFBR-5972Z over that distance.

    Note that there is more flexibility on the trace lengths for the MAC interface. Perhaps they could increase the distance between the MAC and the PHY to decrease the distance between the PHY and the fiber optic transceiver.
