Should I have to use a MCU to control DS100DF410?? or DS100DF410 could be used alone without MCU

    Hi Kai,

    The DS100DF410 by default is configured to use automatic CTLE only (no DFE), lock to 10.3125 Gbps, and then output the retimed waveform. If you require the retimer to behave in any other way, you will need an MCU or some other control mechanism to access the SMBus registers to program the retimer.
