does HD3SS3415 support hot plugging?

Is HD3SS3415 hot pluggable with its power on? can i use a capacitor to isolate it if the signal quality allows, like this:

Hello,
The HD3SS3415 is a passive switch, it does not care about hot-plug, hot-plug is more a protocol feature between the Host and Device.
Can you elaborate more on your implementation?

thank you for your answering, here is my detail imp.:

what i care is that whether HD3SS4315 gets physical impairment if i plug my subcard in/off the backplane with mother card power on.

As Elias mentioned, the HD3SS3415 is a passive switch and it is not affected by connection/disconnection.
