Changes from PCA9517

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCA9517, TCA9517

Hello,

Currently, I use the PCA9517.

I am considering changing from the PCA9517 to TCA9517.

What is the difference between the internal circuit of the PCA9517 and TCA9517?

Best regards,
Seishin

  • Hi Seishen,

    Thanks for the question.

The TCA9517 is a direct replacement for the PCA9517. The main changes from PCA to TCA are that the TCA9517 has a lower supply voltage (0.9V to 5.5V on the A-side & 2.7V to 5.5V on the B-side). Our TCA devices have also corrected the Power-on reset Errata stated at the end of our PCA device datasheets.

    Thanks,
    Siby
