On the DS100BR111, how should channel B's inputs be connected when TX_DIS=1, which disables channel B's outputs?

  • When TX_DIS is high, channel A’s output is enabled and channel B’s output is disabled. In this state, it does not matter what channel B’s input is connected to. For example, channel B’s inputs can be connected to GND or connected to each other, the result would be the same.

    When TX_DIS is low, both channel A and channel B's outputs are enabled. In this state, channel B's inputs should be connected to an AC-coupled differential signal.
