Our customers need an IC which has the following criteria.
1. Able to Connect Host to Device by using a logic signal (Example - Pull 'High' or 'Low').
2. Able to Disconnect Device from Host by using a logic signal (Example - Pull 'High' or 'Low').
3. Meet USB 2.0 and/or 3.x specification.
4. Can be soldered to board easily. They prefer DIP type if available.
Basically, Both functions 1 & 2 are same. It is like relay, which has normally close and normally open terminals.
