Hi Team,

My customer saw link expired(LED_LINK became OFF) occasionally on his board which DP83848C is used.
Only power cycling of DP83848C could return link established normally.
He wants to figure out what is wrong with his system.
Is there any status register of DP83848C that should be read first?

    Could you ask the customer to provide a schematic and a dump of the registers?  For the register dump, please ask them to read each register twice and provide both values.  Some of the registers latch their status so they must be read twice to get the current value.  My thinking would be to have them provide a register dump in normal operation before link expires and to also provide a register dump after link expires.
