TPS65982 reference design code

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00714, TPS6598X-CONFIG, TPS65982-EVM, TPS65982, HD3SS460

Dear Sir

Could you kindly help to provide TIDA-00714 and TIDA-00630 original official code??

Thanks

  • Kai,

    The TIDA-00714 original FW is backed up in the TPS6598X-CONFIG Configuration Tool, if you click "Load Defaults - EVM Recovery Files - TPS65982-EVM"

    The TIDA-00630 FW is not backed up in the Configuration Tool, but it is very similar to the first "Load Defaults - TPS65982 Configurations" option:

    TPS65982 Dual-Role Port" Prefers Power Source, Data Agnostic, supports HD3SS460

  • Dear Berner

    Due to tool change to 2.8 Version

    1. Could you kindly help to provide "Enabler" reference code bin file and pjt file??

    2. TIDA-00630 which code is for this reference design

  • Dear Berner

    For 2.8 Version ,I use above reference design code "DRP_Host_Full" and "DRP_Source_FUll" ,both of can't work with TIDA-00630
    I find GPIO0~GPIO2 default setting is wrong ,Please kindly help to provide pjt and bin file of TIDA-00630 and Enabler EVM

    Thanks
  • Kai,

    The TIDA-00630 Dock reference design has been re-designed as the MiniDock: www.ti.com/.../usb-ctm-minidk-evm

    If you don't want to upgrade to the MiniDock and want to keep testing with TIDA-00630, you can re-map the GPIO Events in the TPS6598X-CONFIG Tool manually:
    GPIO0 = AMSEL Pin on HD3SS460 = AMSEL Event
    GPIO1 = EN Pin on HD3SS460 = DP or USB3 Event (or Plug Event for always-ON when Type-C connection is present)
    GPIO2 = POL Pin on HD3SS460 = Cable Orientation Event (CC2 = '1' = Cable Upside-down)

    Just open the "DRP_Source_Full.tpl" Template file, go to Shared Device Settings tab, and click GPIO Event Map page, then map the GPIOs as needed.
