Hello. I will be connecting a DS80PCI102 between a PCIe device and an internally AC coupled (input and output are internally coupled) SFP in order to cleanup a PCIe lane before transmitting it over fiber. My question is if I need pullup or pulldown resistors between the DS80PCI102 and the SFP in order for this chip to operate correctly. I have reviewed other chips that require these resistors in order for the detect circuitry to work. Can someone advise?
