[ TUSB3410 ] Baud-Rate Setting Change after Configuration

Hi,

Can you help to support following request from my customer?

The host driver firmware is supplied from 3rd party and baud-rate is fixed.
Here I would like to change baud-rate setting through USB interface.

I know that baud-rate setting can be changed with divisor registers (DLL/DLH),
But it's not clear for me that how I can change these registers after firmware downloading.

It's really appreciated, if you can share any of ideas!

Well, does that firmware have some function to change the baud rate? If not, you have to replace the firmware.

Thank you for your comment!..sounds its not so easy.

Do you think the registers is accessible via USB port by using telnet and/or some other terminal software?
If accessible, I just try to overwrite DLL/DLH value.

The internal registers are accessible only to the firmware. You can affect them with the terminal software only if the firmware has implemented some function to change them.

What firmware is this? TI's, or some custom one?

Thank you for your comment! I have talked with my customer and ask them to make sure how their firmware can support this requirement.

The firmware is not TI's, but their own development.
