Hi,

I would like to know layout guideline for SGMII.

Currently, I know that TI will release EVM for SGMII (http://www.ti.com/tool/dp83867ergz-s-evm.

However, there is no information about this EVM on Website.

So, could you please provide layout guide for SGMII ?

Prior to release of the SGMII EVM, the best resource for SGMII layout guidelines is in the DP83867E/IS/CS datasheet. There is some general guidance in the Layout section and some specific recommendations for SGMII in the SGMII Layout Guidelines section.

Do you know when SGMII EVM will be released ?

We are checking datasheet about SGMII layout section, but there is not enough information about how to configure capacitor divider for strap input.

Therefore, if you have layout information from MAC to PHY for SGMII EVM, could you please provide only this information ?

Hello Sukanya,

Do you mean which register need to be configured to turn on SGMII? SGMII can be activated via register 0x10 or strap on LED_0. If I have mistaken your questions, can you open a new thread on E2E and post more details clarifying your question?
