DP159 DP AUX pin

Hi Team

             Coud you help to check this issue?/

Does DisplayPort AUX_CHp, AUX_CHn   connetor to DP159 Pin44/45  or  Pin46/47 ?

Spec is connector to Pin46/47 , but The AUX is not I2C  , so I think   need connecotr to pin44/45

    Hi Kerr,

    DP159 has to port one for AUX_SRC and one for DDC_SRC, you will use the one you have available.

    If you are placing this device on a DP++ to HDMI dongle, you have to use AUX_SRC GPU will send I2C-over-AUX, then Dp159 will receiv it in AUX_SRC port and level translate it to I2C(DDC).

    If you are placing this device near to the GPU, it depends on how the GPU works, some have one port for AUX and one port for DDC, in that case you would use DDC_SRC.

    If the GPU just has AUX< then you connect it to AUX_SRC.
