SN75LVCP600 simulation issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LVCP600

Hi Sir

I have four questions about SN75LVCP600 as followings.

  1. For the V(diffRx) spec min 120mV, the eye opening is defined after/with equalizing(EQ) in receiver or not?

  2. Our simulation channel was using Keysight ADS ideal Rx ibis model. It’s not this TI package and Rx model. In order to accuracy, would TI provide appropriate RX simulation for us to do more analysis?

  3. The spec showed Trace length could be <40inch with FR4, would you provide me what’s the trace insertion loss(dB per inch)?

  4. Attached Hspice model that you provided. I looked vid=0.7. Is that mean this TI redriver can only output voltage swing is 0.7V?

Thank you for your great support.

  • Hi Hugo,

    1) V(diffRx) is the differential input voltage, 120mV is the minimum voltage on Rx pins.
    2) I will send you by email our latest AMI model for LVCP601
    3) This value depends on material, frequency and trace width. You have to ask your manufacturer for this parameter.
4)Vid is the DC level for input data pattern(VIN1), you can see this in .hsp file. If you want output swing check DiffVppTx maximum value is 900mVpp
