Higher data rate application of HDMI TMDS retimer

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS125DF410, TMDS181

Hi,

I am looking for a chip that could support >6G bps HDMI data rate. I searched the product portfolio and only found TMDS181, but it supported only up to 6Gbps. I am wondering if DS125DF410 could be used as a HDMI retimer? The preliminary proposal is as following:

1) DS125DF410 is used to extend the high speed differential signals only. The low speed signals will be connected directly.

2) The high speed interface will be AC-Coupled and the pull resister will be added in HDMI side to match the DC level.

3) HDMI protocol related issue: any impact or side effect when DS125DF410 transmits HDMI differential signals?

Thanks and regards!
