Hi,

Is our understanding correct that other slave devices can be controlled via the I2C bus if pulling down I2C_EN/PIN to low ?
Moreover, is the TMDS181 operation affected if pulling down I2C_EN/PIN to low and accessing TMDS181 via the I2C bus ?

Hi Kato,

You don't need to pulldown I2C_EN to control other I2C devices, you just have to use a different I2C address.

Regarding the operation of the device please see the note of pin functions table:
Note: I2C CSR is addressable at all times, but features that can be controlled by pin strapping can only be changed by I2C when this pin is pulled high
