PCB Rework capability on TPD1S514 in WLCSP package?

Hello:

I am considering the TPD1S514 for a design, but am are concerned about the part due to the packaging of the device from a production service issue. We recently found out that rework is not recommended on the Fairchild FSA8049 that we are already using, which is in a WLCSP package, which is very similar to the WCSP package that the TPD1S514 is in.

Can you please let me know if PCB rework is OK on these parts in this package?

PCB rework is not recommended due to the solder-ball pin being placed there during the manufacturing process.

Thanks for the response Guy. It looks like there may be some confusion about what I mean by rework. We would not be trying to reuse the same component. We would remove the defective part, clean the solder off the pads on the PCB, add new solder, and place and solder a new component. Is that an acceptable / recommended process if we need to replace a defective WLCSP part?
